Advice for Road Runners: The ASICS Women's Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoes are the most cushioned version to date. Tested extensively at ASICS' Institue of Sports Science in Japan, they should deliver great comfort for everyday miles.
Underfoot Feel
An extra 2 mm of FF BLAST PLUS foam means that the ASICS Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoes should feel more cushioned than the previous version.
There's also an updated outsole design called FluidRide. This lightweight outsole works in harmony with the midsole to promote smoother transitions from landing to take-off - which should translate into a more comfortable running experience.
Ultra soft ASICS PureGEL still features in the heel area to reduce the impact of landing and enhance the overall cushioning sensation.
Upper Fit
The engineered jacquard mesh upper in the ASICS Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoes should wrap around your feet and feel soft. Whilst these are neutral running shoes, specific areas of the upper feature added support. However, some of the fibres are left more open so breathability is improved.
At least 75% of the primary upper consists of recycled materials.
Ideal Run Type
The ASICS Women's Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoes are great choices for daily miles. It's fair to say they should offer a balanced feel between softness and responsiveness. As a result, they should feel comfortable on slower paced runs, and energetic enough for some steadier efforts.
Finally, the additional cushioning in the Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoes makes them even more suitable for longer distances.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
